PRIVACY POLICY – HYDROSS
This policy describes how your personal data collected by Hydross is handled. Hydross is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.
Personal data we process:
Hydross processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Address details
- Email address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone
- Bank account number if you place an order
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
We do not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@hydross.nl and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Hydross processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process your payment
- To send you our newsletter and/or advertising brochure (if you have subscribed to this)
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform our services
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- To offer you the option of creating an account
- To deliver goods and services to you
Social media
If you contact us via social media, we will not store any of your data.
How long we store personal data
We store your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. This means that we store your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and documents that we have produced in response to your order.
Automated decision-making
Hydross does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programmes or systems, without involving a human being. Hydross does not use automated systems and everything is done manually.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Hydross only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Furthermore, data is never shared with third parties.
Shopify
Our online shop has been developed using Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data in order to provide us with (technical) support, but will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information relating to your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.
We use the Shopify platform to process (part of) the payments in our online shop. Shopify processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymised) data with third parties. In the event of a request for deferred payment (credit facility), Shopify will share personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify's services for which they engage third parties. Shopify does not retain your data for longer than is permitted by law.
Web hosting
We purchase web hosting and email services from Strato. Strato processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Strato has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Strato is bound by a confidentiality agreement.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Hydross does not use cookies or similar techniques.
Your rights
Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation specified by you. If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability or if you have any other questions/comments about data processing, please send a specified request to support@hydross.nl.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Hydross will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. We would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office. How we protect personal data
Hydross takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
Shipping and Logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your details available to these parties.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way in which we process data already collected about you, we will notify you of this by e-mail.
